BLACKBIRD IN BROOKLYN

The Selvedge Yard blog (TSY) hosted a party for their collaboration with PRPS jeans called 'Blackbird', named after the limited-production Triumph Thunderbird of the same name, painted black of course, rather than the usual grey-blue of that model.  Triumph brought an actual Blackbird (from a Florida collection), along with a matte black version of the new Thunderbird model, for a side-by-side comparison.

JP and Ashley Smalley from TSY were genial hosts as the evening attracted a fair lineup of NYC Triumphs, and about 350 guests packed into the only-in-Brooklyn Fast Ashley's photo studio with a giant vintage Indian dealer sign - nice prop!  Not all the men had beards, but being Williamsburg, most did.  The ladies?  See for yourself...
